The Rosetta stone, carved in black granodiorite during the Hellenistic period, is believed to have originally been displayed within a temple. It was probably moved during the early medieval period, and was eventually used as building material in the construction of Fort Julien near the town of Rashid (Rosetta) in the Nile Delta. Dongpeng Marble+ Rosetta was exactly born in this context. The distinctive high-class dark grey, accompanied by the white curving grains disorderly scattered on the surface, injects a sense of dynamic effect into spaces. Sophisticated Marble techniques also enhance all performances of Rosetta like the excellent abrasion resistance. Besides, its modern and minimalist style attracts wide attention of designers and architects.
